Event Description
This score-orienteering event explores the 4 square-kilometer Summerlake community of Tigard. You have 60, 90, or 120 minutes to find as many controls as possible in any order. Bring a watch to help avoid a point penalty for finishing late. You can use either the MapRun phone app or a Q&A sheet to take credit for each control found (we recommend using MapRun, which is faster and easy to use).

Your placement in the results is dependent on the total number of points that you earn for controls found. Tie scores are broken by time on the course. The score value of each control is determined by the tens digit on the control number (for example, control 38 is worth 30 points).

You may do your course as an individual or as part of a team, but if you are part of a team, you must remain with your team at all times while competing.
