Highlights

Expanded 4 sq. km. map using 1:10,000 scale and 5-meter contours.

Point-to-Point format with 7 courses for juniors and adults, and a short, untimed Kidd-O course for children.
Free beginner clinics offered between 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM for first-time orienteers.
Individual starts from 10:00 to 12:00 NOON.
Children can start the Kidd-O course at any time.
Use the MapRun phone app or a Q&A sheet to log control that you find.
Social event afterward to share course experiences and get to know others.
All courses close at 3 PM and control pickup begins at that time.

Event Description

This point-to-point orienteering event explores the Conestoga and Greenway communities in South Beaverton. You choose the beginner, novice, intermediate, or advanced course that you prefer to do and you have up to 3 hours to find all of the controls on your course in the order shown on your map. If you get permission to start after 12:00 PM, you get less than three hours (the courses close by 3 PM). You can use either the MapRun phone app or a Q&A sheet to take credit for each control found (we recommend using MapRun, which is faster and easier to use).

You may do your course as an individual or as part of a team; if you are part of a team, you must remain with your team at all times while competing.

Register for the Event

You must register for this event online by 11 PM on Friday February 7, 2025. We use the Orienteering USA (OUSA) Event Register system to manage our events.

An OUSA account is not required. If you don't have an OUSA membership, select the Enter Data Manually option.
Your registration is not complete until you sign your waiver and pay your fees (adults must sign for minors).
- Parents/Guardians, please register your minor children separately and sign the waver for them.
The fees differ based on the complexity and length of your course with everyone paying the low membership fees for this event (non membership fees will be introduced later when memberships begin).
Each participant must be registered individually, even if they are part of a team.
- If you are part of a team, enter the team name/ID (or the names of your teammates) on the registration form so that we can group you with your team for the starts and results.
After registration has closed, we will send an email out with the final instructions for the event.

Driving directions:
- Take highway 217 to exit 4B (SW Scholls Ferry Rd).
- Go west on SW Scholls Ferry Rd for 1.6 miles to SW 125th Ave.
- Turn right and go 0.3 miles to SW Conestoga Dr.
- Turn left and go 250 feet to the first driveway on the right.
- Turn right into the parking lot, then left
- Park on the side of the athletic facility facing the high school athletic fields.
